My name is Mark Rogers and I am a professional director.
I provide Chairman, Independent and Non-Executive Director services to businesses. As a professional director I have the credibility, availability and flexibility to work with organisations on governance matters. I improve an organisation's performance by applying good governance principles.
I am a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors (CFinstD). Chartered Fellow is the highest level within the Institute of Directors membership pathway and is awarded to acknowledge and recognise significant contribution made to the director profession. Assessment criteria includes being of good character, having extensive experience in organisations of substance, and making an ongoing commitment to the principles of the Institute of Directors Charter.
I am a Company Chair and have worked to Chief Executive level. My experience covers both private and public commercial and not-for-profit organisations.
In addition to my broad commercial background I also bring with me specific expertise. I have deep experience in the infrastructure, economic development and health sectors. I have an intimate understanding of change and risk management as well as extensive understanding of Health and Safety with an associated background in Quality and Environmental management. These skills and experience are recognised through memberships of the Business' Leaders Health and Safety Forum and RiskNZ.
It is my priority throughout an appointment to have a continual focus upon adding value from the client's perspective.
